The world isn't ready for genre-benders. Never-mind that punk rock is about finding a different sound. Comparing Black Flag to Bad Brains doesn't work, but they are both awesome. Subhumans didn't sound like Misfits, but they are both just as good. It's kind of silly that people could accept different sounds 25 years ago, but can't today.
