The Jackson Tapes

Frustration Lyrics:

Little bit of flesh to dig my teeth in,

You are the long-nosed queen,

Floating up and down.

Woman! Body draped in wire,

All you seem to do is swallow me.

Get away!

I am the mad, mad scientist,

Soon Ill build the perfect female friend,

To comfort me, to satisfy,

Programmed just to please.

Anyway, you are the one for me,

Switching on and off.

Woman, body soft and warm,

Stroking furry fingers on the micromesh.

Follow me!

I am the mad, mad scientist,

Whos power can turn Medusas head to stone,

Destroy the blast, dangling from a chain.

I say, whats the use?

One of my favorite songs by Genesis, Anyway and this rendition of it is absolutely fantastic. Tony's piano is beautiful, how the notes go up and down to match Peter's early yet mesmerizing vocals. In my opinion, Anyway is one of the most beautiful songs Genesis has created.

The beginning of greatness for Peter and the lads.Amazing how this was the early Anyway from the Lamb with a different mid section to the end. Awesome. I wonder if this was Ant and Mayhew on this......sounds like it.

That's the worst of drumming I've heard. It's Mayhew, right?

Peter plays some great flute on this track! And the version of "Anyway" that appears here is beautiful.
