They're in front of the scene, yelling loud and clear about how they want to conquer and master everything, to kill and eat everything. And they're being applauded. They relentlessly exploit the Earth and its natural resources. They're killing billions of individuals in the process, exterminating thousands of species, destroying every other culture they meet, to steal their land and exploit it. Impoverishing billions of people all over the world. Polluting everything to the point the atmosphere itself is now carcinogen! They're enslaving the entire planet and its population, and they're making billions in monetary profit because of it, which means more power, which means even more monetary profits.And most civilised people will say "That's great, they're contributing in The Economy. The GDP is increasing. Growth is good. There is nothing more important in the entire universe than the All Mighty Economy. Not even life itself."It's all very clear, tangible, evident. Everybody can see it. But this culture also teach us to deny it's happening. Or, if we can't deny it, to pretend it's okay, not so serious, or, at the very least, inevitable. It just has to happen, "there's no other way", they say.We (as beings raised under the Civilisation) have been indoctrinated in this system, broken to the point we accept the violence necessary to maintain the Civilisation as normality. And most people can't fathom that there are other way of living, because those other ways are constantly crushed by the Civilisation itself.Maybe you changed you mind on this being being the scene, since your comment was such a long time ago. But I had to say it anyway. it's not being the scene, it's not that people dont see the problem, it's that they've been told to not see it, to deny it, or to accept it as inevitable, and to try to discuss this with them will only get you mockery and anger.
