I was lucky enough to have witnessed the same brilliance also way back 1996 during Jim's concert in Cebu. He turned 3 random notes into a stunning magical piece! It was an unforgetable night. Wished someone had recorded it.

I was there also way back 1992. And I was the only one who had his signature on cassette tape because cd are quite expensive during that time. And it's really different when you see in him person. He's very approachable. More power to you Jim!

Yup... true story. I was there. Random audience played 3 notes and Jim thanked her. Jim then sat down on the bench, both his hands on his lap, looking over the piano. Everybody was quiet with anticipation.... then he played the same 3 notes the girl just played, and out came this beautiful music. I do have to say... while the "From my Heart" version on the CD is beautiful, the live version on that night was way more beautiful (and longer). Jim received like a 5-7 minute standing ovation after.
