Shit cuz, FF filled a void for that mood when the normal channels were taking a break or sump. As a matter a fact the whole Humbolt movement out of N. Kali kept me stocked with alot of quality shizzle. IDK why some of these groups did not get more promo, and airtime. Thanks to the best crate in the galaxy "youtube" I am going to die without hearing all that there is out there. :( Maybe.....Tee Hee.

if you first heard this on college radio stations in 91, you probably had your finger on the record button of your cassette player late night when the FCC allowed a certain time when any curse words were allowed during those hours. you are probably into Project Blowedians like Busdriver... and of course any MCs from the Good Life Cafe. the most recent thing i heard from any of the members...was Myka9's most recent albums off of the record label Fake Four INC.(sorry ...most newbies who download music nowadays wouldn't know what a record label is lol) most independent record labels usually were a collective of like minded artists who have similar qualities from one another and had a common sound which made it easier to find more music in a certain particular focus of style if you search by record label. this probably plays apart in the short attention span ADHD generation now who had no focus or understanding of how things were organized before the internet world took shift and how vast the internet spreads a culture so thin amongst a abundance of wackness so they wouldn't know were to begin.

HOW TO RAP

Myka 9 was interviewed for the book series *HOW TO RAP* and *HOW TO RAP2*, and shared his rapping techniques. Here he talks about metaphors."The average dope MC that’s really tight, they’ll tell you [that]in your mind you’re constantly thinking of metaphors. Everytime you see a street sign or a billboard, you’re thinking, howcan I tie that into a rhyme? So constantly think of metaphors, analogies, things of that nature."
