If this is the original recording, the singer is Elmer Feldkamp.

I want the recording by MORTON DOWNEY he sang it great. this recording is great too. rated highest 11+. Great singer, love this recording as good as Morton Downey, could it be Morton. Love the arrangement. Proud to be the second commenter. My mother had a brain tumor operation when i first heard this song sung by morton in 1975, she lived 19 years more. it has a meaning of love for mom for me. ROGHARM
