I Can Hear Music by Freddie Mercury (Real Voice).

Brian May on guitar and Roger Taylor on drums.

Written by Phil Spector, Ellie Greenwich and Jeff Barry.

Lyrics:

This is the way

I only dreamed it could be

The way that it is

Oh, no, when you are holding me

I never had a love of my own

Maybe that's why when we're alone

I can hear music

I can hear music

Sounds of the city, baby

Seems to disappear

Oh well, I can hear music

Sweet, sweet music

Whenever you touch me, baby

Whenever you're near

Loving you - it keeps me satisfied

And I can't explain, oh no

The way I'm feeling inside

You look at me we kiss and then

I close my eyes and here it comes again

I can hear music

I can hear music

Sounds of the city, baby

Seems to disappear

Oh well, I can hear music

Sweet, sweet music

Whenever you touch me, baby

Whenever you're near

I can hear music

Sweet, sweet music

Whenever you touch me, baby

Whenever you're near

I can hear music

Sweet, sweet music

Whenever you touch me, baby

Whenever you're near

Larry Lurex (Freddy Mercury) sang "I Can Hear Music." Freddy Mercury sang "Liar."Under his pseudonym, he probably did not make any music videos, only studio recordings. This is a sped up video, probably to to emulate the tempo of the vocals. The vocals and the video are the same performers, and the Liar video would have been contemporaneous with early Queen, so it is a music video mashup. Not a true fake. In his early career, Michelangelo used to create 'ancient art'; bury it, dig it up and sell his own carvings as classical archeological pieces. His customers wanted ancient art, so he gave them what they wanted. It paid the bills.

The song with real tone is in the official release (in the FM Boxset). This isn't the real tone...

I think this style of music is called "the wall of sound" typical of 60's music .. funny how love is... another example but Freddie is simply magnificent.

I don't think there is footage of Queen singing I Can Hear Music. If there is, I'd like to see it

This was a pre Queen studio facilities test prior to their first actual recordings. the name "Larry Lurex" was a parody/joke of a certain existing artist of that era called 'Gary Glitter'. This is definitely Queen.... No discussion is required ! 'I can Hear Music' was recorded originally by Dusty Springfield and 'I Can Hear Music' originally by The Beach Boys

This is The Voice! This Is Freddie Mercury!

Freddie's voice was not sped up. Like Roger Taylor once said, "Freddie could hit all registers". High, Middle, Low. Listen to Queen's song 'Don't Try So Hard'. It was recorded near the end of Freddie's life.
