It's been years since I've heard this song. I grew up listening to the Four Seasons. Before the Beatles, and the British Invasion, America was blessed by having the Four Seasons on the east coast and the Beach Boys on the west coast. Those were the few groups in America that continued to be successful during and after the British Invasion. Sure, I loved the music that came across the pond, but I also loved Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The very first 45 rpm record I ever bought was Sherry and the first album I ever bought was one by the Four Seasons. I'll always love their music. It still sounds great to this day. Frankie Valli's remarkable voice coupled with the genius of songwriter Bob Gaudio made them a real powerhouse in the sixties. Long live the Four Seasons.

Good music is good music, regardless of critics genre fashioning. I have read some of the below comments and, I personally, like both this original and the Madcon re-interpretation. I agree with @james mason. ALL genres have some excellent tracks, you just have to find them! ;)
