The Frankenstein Drag Queens From Planet 13 were born from the ashes of the North Carolina band, Maniac Spider Trash and started spreading havoc in their own native state in 1996. Their first full-length album, "The Late Late Late Show", put them on the map for horror-punk and scum rock 'n' roll. With the release of the second album, "Night of the Living Drag Queens", the band signed a record deal with the European label, People Like You Records. At that time, the band was also inducted in the Confederacy of Scum.
The band continued a strong collaboration with People Like You, releasing the next 3 albums with them. Other singles were released in Germany and Italy and FDQ's reputation quickly grew in the underground of rock music.
After the successful release of "Songs from the Recently Deceased", the original FDQ line-up disbanded. However, Wednesday 13 kept the monster running with other like-minded individuals, giving birth to their final release, "Viva Las Violence". Shortly after, the band broke up and Wednesday 13 moved on to bigger things fronting the Murderdolls, which also included Joey Jordison of Slipknot.
This track, a cover of "Fox On the Run" originally by UK 70s Glamsters The Sweet is taken from the FDQFP13's boxset Little Box of Horrors (2006) and is previously unreleased...
