"devout- to have strong commitment to a cause or belief" Frank is and this is only my supposition from his songs strongly atheist. He believes strongly that there is no god. so from my previous quote if he is commitedly atheist and believes it with a strong conviction then by definition he is devoutly atheist. So that chap is how he can be devoutly atheist :)

Devoutly atheist? How on earth is someone a devout atheist?

This song makes me happy on rainy English days while I'm waiting for my bus home, and I'm standing in the rain just thinking if there's a faster way back home :) <3

This song reminds me a little bit of Jackson Browne... I'm probably the only one who thinks that, but whatever. Fantastic either way.

Springsteen and Turner are apples and oranges, though slightly similar in style. Frank's quite a bit more optimistic, and Springsteen can be very depressing. One's fresh and full of promising, and the other's had long enough to put out an album not as good as the previous. One thing's for sure: they're both heroes for the little guy, and they both have put out some of the greatest stuff in rock history. I don't think anybody should judge either of them. Just don't listen if you don't like it.

@onlyspitfire They're both 'f*cking' fantastic! Springsteen inspired Frank - and Gaslight, and we need all three to function in this world.
