When I was about 17, I was given an HMV 78 of this record. On the label it just says "With vocal refrain". I never knew then that Sinatra sang with Dorsey, and didnt recognise his voice immediately, but I remember it was his pronunciation of "Awning" as "Arning" that made me sit up and think "Hang on- it can't be- can it?"

What a combination! The Sentimental Gentleman as smooth as silk and of course the magnificent "Voice" transporting all who understand the story of the song to more southerly latitudes. A joy to listen to.
