Very curious about the personal relationship between Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin. They both being super star actors wining coveted leading parts in high production movies, being a member of the Las Vegas Rat Pack & both having number one song hits for yrs in a row on the hit parade it's a wonder they got along as well as they did.I've gathered that Martin was an chronic alcoholic as was Sinatra along with both were chain smokera smoking over 3 packs per day ea.I've played for a time in my earlier days various types of music on the road incl popular, old standards & Dixieland Jazz & I never got enough sleep, was taking stimulants to wake up & sleeping pills to sleep at night while drinking Jack Daniels 24/7.Its intresting to me how anyone like Sinatra, Martin, Willie Nelson, Pete Fountain, Al Hurt or even Neal Diamond made it as long as they did.Joe G. The musical premiered on Broadway at the 46th Street Theatre on November 24, 1950. It was directed by George S. Kaufman, with dances and musical numbers by Michael Kidd, scenic and lighting design by Jo Mielziner, costumes by Alvin Colt, and orchestrations by George Bassman and Ted Royal, with vocal arrangements by Herbert Greene. It starred Robert Alda (Sky), Sam Levene (Nathan), Isabel Bigley (Sarah), and Vivian Blaine (Adelaide).

I totally agree with you, except with Adele. I do think she brings an older RnB feel to music. Plus she is the artist today that doesn't drown herself in auto tune, or at all. But yes, I've always face palmed at the type of the transformer sex sounding and chipmunk babble that people listen to. Older music is definitely better in lyrics and quality than all the new age crap

You're never gonna find 2 great artists as those 2 were Frank and Dino. Nowadays the kids and some adults consider the crap artists the best like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Eminem, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Wiz Khalifa, Kid Cudi, Adele, and Maroon 5. Those are not the best, from saying that we should trade those guys in for Frank, Dino, Sammy, Bing, Dizzy, Miles, Satchmo, and Prima.
