This is a music video for Distinction's Refix of Frank - Ocean Swim Good. The video was made in line with his RVST mixtape project.

#RVST is the highly anticipated debut mixtape from London-based producer Distinction.

When Distinction decided to experiment with putting his own spin on Frank Ocean's 'Swim Good', the producer - formerly known for his pioneering dubstep releases with Caspa's Dub Police label - received acclaim from blogs such as Pigeons & Planes (who placed the track at number 3 on its round-up of Frank Ocean remixes) and Hypetrak (who premiered the tracks' video).

Having become frustrated and bored with how his work had been going, he found the process of remixing the R&B music that had always been an influence freeing. The concept of #RVST was born, and Distinction continued to 'revisit' tracks that were influencing him and applying his own spin, not worrying about falling into any specific genre or sound.

Over a year later and we finally arrive at the finished product, a cohesive collection of interpretations, that push the boundaries of what a 'refix' can be. Are these tracks even really refixes? Or have they crossed the line into originals with samples? #RVST questions how we borrow and recycle musical concepts and ideas.

The tape revisits tracks from a wide range of artists, including Frank Ocean, Usher, Aaliyah, The Weeknd, Jessie Ware, Drake and JMSN, as well as two bonus tracks (his take on Beyonce's 'Haunted' and a vocalled version of his Usher refix by East London rapper CONFZ). The past 18 months have seen Distinction building a cult fan base and receiving recognition and support from the likes of Plastician (Rinse FM), Star Slinger, Mikky Ekko, BK Beats, and more, as well as blog coverage from Earmilk, Indie Shuffle, SB.TV and Potholes In My Blog as well as the previously mentioned and many more.
