For me this is one of the best songs of the 2016 contest. Very melodious, meaningful lyrics and beautifully delivered with just the right amount of passionate understatement by Francesca. Unfortunately, whoever dreamt up the staging and outfit she wore should be ashamed of themselves. It is a garish mess. The official video entry wasn't all that crash-hot either. Would not have won but should have placed highly. However, still love it and play often.

For the non Italian speaker ones , this is not a love song (romantic song ) , it's a song about the fact that we sometimes feel so separated from one country to another , it's very much a song against xenophobia ,basically she saying there is no real separation between us , as we are all humans all living in this planet that is part of the same universe , and we have all dreams , hopes , fears etc , no matters if we were born in Italy , in Ireland , in England m in Spain etc etc . We are all humans and there's no degree of separation between us . There are more the things that we have win common than the things that make us different to one another .
