Ce devrait être le dernier titre de la série «jazzy» de France Gall. Publiée en 1966, c'est l'adaptation d'une chanson danoise nommée «Say Boom Boom». L'interprète originale est Lise Reinau, la femme du compositeur Poul Reinau. Erik Deigaard est enregistré comme co-auteur et co-compositeur à la SACEM, mais cela doit être une erreur. J'ai reçu ce courriel de Jesper Reinau, le fils de Paul et Lise Reinau: «Mark Wessel est le fils de Tove et Hugo Wessel et ils vivaient en Espagne. Lise et Poul les visitaient quand Mark avait 3 ans. Il jouait assis à l'extérieur en chantant bom-bom. Donc, mon père a écrit cette chanson inspiré de ces mots. Erik Deigaard est un auteur danois qui a écrit beaucoup de chansons pour les albums danois de Lise». On peut conclure par cette histoire que Poul Reinau a été très généreux en donnant des droits d'auteur au jeune Mark Wessel. Sur le même 45T : «Bonsoir John John», «La rose des vents» et «La guerre des chansons».

This should be the last in the serie of jazzy tunes by France Gall. It was released in 1966. This was an adaptation of a Danish song [Original title: Say Boom Boom]. The original interpret was Lise Reinau, the wife of Poul, the composer. Erik Deigaard is registered as as co-author, co-composer in SACEM, but that must be a mistake. I got this e-mail from Jesper Reinau, the the son of Paul and Lise Reinau: "Mark Wessel is a son of Tove and Hugo Wessel and they were living in Spain. Lise and Poul were visiting them and Mark was 3 years old on that time. He was sitting outside playing and singing bom-bom. So my father wrote the song from this words. Erik Deigaard is a Danish song writer who have made a lot songs to Lise's Danish album". From this story, anyone can conclude that Poul Reinau was very generous in giving some lyrics credit to Mark Wessel. On the same EP : "Bonsoir John John", "La rose des vents" and "La guerre des chansons".
