I like Foy Vance and this is a nice enough cover, it's just a bit disjointed and the tempo kills the flow for me. The original's an all time classic, pretty much perfect.

I've had never heard of Foy Vance, but a couple years ago I ever so luckily stumbled across this cover of this amazing song. 3 years later I still occasionally listen to this. When I'm in that kind of place where I just need something full of a quiet and soft power in my day, a little bit of comfort. It makes me feel like everything is the world is going to be ok, and I can just relax and be happy. Powerful.
