Fortunate Youth is pure talent, the whole band. Too bad Gonzo left. I got the album of his new band, Beyond I Sight, and they are not bad but I prefer Fortunate Youth. In my musical opinion Fortunate Youth sounds more "mature", more solid than bands like Rebelution, The Green, etc. which I do enjoy too. I don't know if I'm explaining myself well, I'm not hating on other bands but when I listen to Rebelution I feel like they still need something more that I don't know what is, maybe experience or more musical skills, same feeling I got with Beyond I sight but hey, no one starts at the top, right? I know musicians leave groups all the time to do their own thing but it feels like Fortunate Youth lost a big part and they did since Gonzo's voice is amazing. I will miss him in songs like Sweet Love, the combination of voices of these 2 was perfect.
