Damn, this song made me cry (not going to lie, also a little angry xD). He rapped so passionate about true things If only I could hear more rap songs in America like this. We learned about this event from a lesson in class and while reading a book called "Farewell to Manzanar", and is described how bad the camps were from another person's perspective. Everytime I heard something familiar I'd have this look of realization. Reading the book didn't make me cry, just upset. But this did because it just hit me in the chest lyrically. I also cried because though I'm glad I wasn't alive at the time, some of my family members have told me about it and about some of my other family who've died while in Internment Camps. It's like a story that gets passed down. But on another note, I thought it was a stupid thing for Roosevelt to pass the Executive order for Internment Camps. That's like throwing out a whole bag of apples because of a few rotten ones. Can you imagine throwing out thousands and thousands of apples because of like 3?

Look man. The United States shouldn't have been involved in WWII at all. But if you're in a total war (and WWII was a total war) you do whatever it takes to win. It sucks but that's the way it is. Don't forget, plenty of German-Americans and German nationals were detained in America as well, but no one talks about that because they know it was necessary.

Interesting topic. The rap itself is unfortunately mediocre at best.
