Track 6 from the upcoming full length, "Sojourner," releasing on 10/27/12

Lyrics:

Time has slipped away. My soul cries for peace; for understanding. In this moment, I hear no voice; no revelation finds me. No answers to quench my thirst. Left here to die alone, no answers have quenched my thirst. Am I alone? Worst of all, I'm just fine. But how can I know if I am free, truly? Am I free? Is this life worth living? I've heard the truth will set me free, but all that I've found is this desolate prison, and I'm still breathing. You must acknowledge that you've fallen down for us to pick you up. Is your soul so worthless to you (open your eyes to see this is bigger than you) that you won't fight this spirit of complacency growing inside you? Can't you see what's at stake? The lies won't keep you afloat. Your soul is not worth your deception. It's not worth your pride. Your soul is not worth your deception. It's not worth what you call your pride. Tell them. You must acknowledge that you've fallen down for us to pick you up. Just acknowledge that you've fallen down. We've come here to pick you up.

2:03, 3:39. Love this album but every time a hear this song I hear a faint phone like beep at those parts of this song. I'm not sure if I am going crazy or not.

Your screams remind me of Brennan Taulbee (Oceana/Polyenso) from when he was in COMERICA. Biggest reason why I got into you guys, other than the guitar style. :D

You know, I normally agree that the metalcore/post hardcore scene as a whole is getting stale, so fair play to you. But I genuinely felt like this song had an interesting feel to it, perhaps not unique, but the melody in the verses and the opening are provide a really interesting ambiance, kind of like a struggle within oneself or the murky, 'long road' side of life. Really nicely reflected in the album art too.

even though some parts of the songs are autotuned, at least this song does not starts with generic breakdowns.

Oh I wonder why, maybe it's because it's the same genre.

I don't see the big deal on autotune. If you're using it only to enhance the quality, that's totally acceptable to me. But it's when artists have to RELY on it in order to sound good. This band obvs doesn't. They're really good!

Real music doesn't, but real music doesn't make the feel of video games better nor can you spin kick scene kids to it. I guess generic -core will have to suffice.
