Many people here seem to be unaware that not only did Stephen write this "song of a generation" but he sang it on the Buffalo Springfield version!

love the people saying this is 'left over' music - dam right it is compared to your plastic, meaningless, soulfullLESS pop crap - you honestly want to put up this performance, expression, passion and words against shit like beyonce's crap "oh baby if you love it then put a ring on it" X 16 fuc&^%g times , repeatimg the same shit over and over again to a track that was dragged and dropped together in a PC - my 6 years old could do the same  --- hahahahah - or any modern drag and drop music - Modern music is just plain crap - THIS music is called SKILL - and that's what makes you angry.............the fact that modern plastic pop crap generation has no physical skill , dexterity, skill from work and time - Go on the Stills - fuc&*ng legend ya!!!!!!!!!!

Glad to see good music being performed without all the people filming it with their smartphones!

What a mixture! Stephen Stills and the Fender '52 Telecaster. I'm fairly sure it's a '52 and not a Broadcaster or perhaps a later model Tele. I've followed the musical career of Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young since I was a very young teenager. I'm an old guy now. An American treasure: Stephen Stills.

See him in concert and you will understand how brilliantly talented this guy is. They don't make them much like Stephen Stills anymore.

the drummer from B.S., Dewey Martin, told me that he came up with the background parts and harmonies. what a voice on Stills. i wanted to hear him play the telecaster and found this. very cool.

@Hanniballus You should hear Prince rip a guitar up.He general style isn't for me but when it come to a talent beyond his own genre he can play just about anything.

Stephen Stills... all American Rock at its best. He makes that guitar sing its own language.

Rock Musik @ his very very best ! You ever see one of this "gangsta-rapper" , Boygroups, Beauties or wot ever now is in with a guitar in a hand and the folks goes crazy ? 50 cent, J. bieber and all u other hopeless boys and girls.... look this men and see what real music can do. You can learn a lot from S.Stills ... BUT u never ever will have the inner groove and feeling what u need. Neil Young, Cat Stevens, S.Stills or Willie Nelson are heros of millions over 30-40 years. Cheers !

I agree with mmelindam. Over the decades no one has even come close to is his voice. I think he is vastly underrated and under appreciated. It was delightful to read a post from a like minded rock lover.

Save for the odd Vivaldi, this must be the best piece of music I have ever heard!
