Downhere is such an under-rated band!! Ever since their debut album, each subsequent project displayed tremendous growth in their sound & songwriting that God's blessing upon them was clearly evident!! Hoping they will regroup, refreshed, revived, reignited & reinvigorated to proclaim the fulness of Christ with even greater sonic explosion & depth than this FABULOUS "On The Altar Of Love" album!!

So many of there songs end up bringing me to tears, the good kind. Doesn't happen often when a band can just have so many uplifting songs that really help lift up our spirit and faith.

When I first heard this song it really hit me hard because it reminded me that the Lord is here even in the hardest times. I tend to get angry for the heartbreak, but this song reminds me that I should be thankful for the heartbreak. THANK THE LORD!

The music is maturing with the band's own personal walk with Christ, which only grows richer and more sweet. Hmm, I suddenly feel like some good ol' Canadian maple syrup.

@Tarafriend33 Been doing that for years - but then again, even by DH's standards the new album is FANTASTIC so maybe it is finally their time!

What I don't understand is - and here I'm trying to understand my senses - is how these guys have nailed in SOO MANY SONGS since Wide Eyed & Mystified?? I mean, usually it's one or three great songs, yet Downhere has made whole albums one after the other completely filled with unrealistic profound & true songs. I'm perplexed!
