That's one darned catchy tune. I wasn't alive in '65, but if I had been, I would have bought it.As a native Rhode Islander, I of course have known of The Cowsills, their Rhode Island origins, and their "hits" for many years. Only recently have I become aware and interested in their story; their rise to fame and ultimate slide into obscurity. It's amazing that so much talent existed in a single family, and I have to wonder just how much bigger they could have been had things been handled differently.

Really glad you shared this, thank you. Richard was part of the Cowsills as far as I was concerned; I remember knowing that he was in Vietnam and thinking a lot about that, all those years ago, and I wish I'd known more about him since those days. He's been on my mind since knowing that he was sick. Rest in peace Richard.
