The beauty of a great song is it's open to interpretation to the listener. It may have been inspired by a suicide when DG wrote if but it defo has romantic connotations. I love it. Would love to walk up the aisle to it when I marry my other half.

I never really appreciated this song until I was on a road trip to Georgia in a rental car with kick ass speaker. It was about 10PM and we were driving through the mountains in Tennessee, the other two people in the car were asleep and this song came up on my iPod. When that first Piano chord hit... it got my attention... and I had an emotionally experience with this song. Until it ended i felt like I was truly alone in the car, on the road, in the mountains in the darkness.
