Nice cover. I was wondering about these pickups. I have a few thunderbird basses and wanted to play Frankenstein with one of the cheaper Epiphone ones. This is a great example, thanks man. My setting is kinda opposite to yours. I set the neck pickup higher than the bridge 10 on the N about 3 on the B for a deep, deep tone and the tone knob on about 1 or 2. Those pups sound good but I still haven't decided between EMG's, Bart's, or Lull's. Thanks for the nice cover.

Thank you!, as far as the settings, it's really straight up the middle, little more toward the bridge pickup for punch. There is very little you need for it to sound great, there are no effects, just recorded straight into Pro Tools from the direct out on the Ashdown amp, it may be just as much the amp as the bass. But I have nothing to compare so, that's the best I can say. Check out the link in the info for a demo that DBZ has produced on the Hailfire line. Thanks again for the comments!
