Crickey Foos youve made such a bland version. You could have had a break down then slow build up then monumental finish like you often do.

but you wouldn't say "I love foo fighters" it sounds like you're some foreign noob, you'd say "I love the foo fighters". or else people would think you're talking about the actual UFO foo fighters

Nobody can top the Passions, but the song is so good you can't screw it up. This is one in a series of great covers.

Yeah that's pretty much my take. This version is ok, but it doesn't have the mood The Passions brought to it. I just see it as FF paying homage to a great song so that's fine. But I won't be remembering this version of the song 30 years from now.

So does your mother, but do you see me complaining?

Beter than I expected, but the original is unbeatable. The female voice is more melodic, dramatic, fragile, etcetera, and that amazing baseline makes me put the amp on 10, making the door resonate. A top 10 New Wave Classic, without a doubt! This version is too laid back to really go to my heart, brain, soul. But ofcourse an opportunity for young people to get to know the original.

I used to be in love with a German film star, but then I found the Foo Fighters.
