This is perhaps the best cover of a Gerry Rafferty song that I've ever heard in my life. At the time that this cover version was originally recorded, I could not find it on any Foo Fighters CD. I found out later on that it was only released on a Japanese import that they had done and was also the b-side to the song "My Hero." I used to hear this cover version just about every night after I'd get home from work on 96.5 The Mountain WDOD, which was then an alternative formatted station. Now they're just a pop formatted station, but they used to play some really great material back then that I couldn't hear no where else and that was where I discovered this cover version at, which Capitol has since released on the 10th anniversary edition of "The Colour And The Shape."

i love foo fighters and have done since the mid to late 90's but i wish they would leave songs like this alone i grew up listening to the original (by gerry raffery) pretty much from birth and love it

Wow, usually when I hear covers from this band, or other modern bands, its the vocals that's the worse part. Surprisingly, his vocals in this is the only thing that's enjoyable.
