I've been listening to Foals for like five years now, and I always, always come back to this song. It's brilliantly dark. They should play this live at some point.

Well clearly you don't know what your on about, and in any case this is all irrelevant, this band is success for a reason and they are better off than the both of us.

I'll answer too. To be honest, no. I don't take pride in being different. I be different because that's me - I'm someone different from most people, and that's what I'm proud of. Sometimes I love popular music, but sometimes I love something everyone else is oblivious to. The feeling escapes me because I am not trying to be someone in relation to anyone else, I am only trying to be someone.

You can upload your images everywhere, nothing wrong with Polaroids or vintage Cameras if you know what you do, Macbooks have "artistic" software" ? What kind of retarded statement is this? Other Computers don't allow users to be creative? There is only Starbucks coffee to drink from outside your house? You're not exactly helping against this "hipster" statement here, bro.

I love 'hipster' music,I upload to instagram, I use vintage cameras and Polaroids, I dress how I feel. So what, everyone's differant, I don't consider myself to be hipster, I have a MacBook because it has artistic software, I upload to instagram because I see art wherever I go, I go to Starbucks because house coffee just isn't the same, I'm not indie , I'm just an individual and people shouldn't be judged on how they decide to live their lives. Nobody should care about whatever a hipster is. Just be yourself, I mean, after writing this comment I plan on listening to Skizzy Mars. So be it. Don't wear fake glasses and shit just to look cool. Heck, I'm wearing 20 dollar shorts from a supermarket and a business shirt. Just do whatever, enjoy the music, and get faaaaarked with this hipster shit.

Yes, I think this is the common use of "hipster" today, though i read about different definitions that were not as negative. What really bugs me though, is, that with this hipster discussion, its not the hipsters who are being damaged, but people who actually listen to experimental or unknown stuff, because of interest in it. Not being in the mainstream is all of a sudden understood as conformism and it is being brought upon those that are not conformist at all but actually try to make a point.
