I personally like when Lacey sings this song because she actually has exerperienced the lyrics of this song.. Lacey was not just singing it.. Lacey was singing it was meaning.. And the new vocal singer is just singing it. It kinda ruined the song for me.. l:(

She looks like she's trying to remember the words in her head, she even messed them up at the end. You know why?? BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WRITE THIS SONG! Honestly the thing that bugs me the most about this is that Kristen is singing Lacey's songs. Her songs that came from her heart and pure emotion, and then Kristen just turns it into a pop cover. If they really want to carry on, find a different name and write DIFFERENT SONGS. Stop butchering Lacey's songs.

Uhm no. Just no. Lacey was such an artist, one who is satisfied with one's art for the sake of one's satisfaction, this lady looks like exactly what Lacey sung about In Swept away. "Your eyes are black and empty. Your deeds are just for showing. How big and bright your fake smile shows." lol I'm sorry but she totally gives me the vibe of a really fake, flashy, attention-needy person. Wanting attention isn't the sign of a true artist, wanting to share the beauty of human experience Is.

Okay. I'm pretty sure it was said that Lacey said SHE announced SHE is leaving the band. They didn't tell her to leave or anything like that. SHE wanted to. She wouldn't want you hating Kristen for her leaving the band. She gets along with Kristen just fine, go watch other videos with Kristen explaining it. Why do you hate? Her voice is fine. Lacey wouldn't appreciate it, so why do it?

Ok I want to agree with everyone that for these songs Kristen's voice is annoying. I hope she finds her place in the band someday and they continue but for me Lacey was the voice which matters most and without her I'm no longer into flyleaf the band. This girl isn't bad so I wish them well but I love Lacey's voice too much to try to enjoy the band without her.
