They aren't forcing their beliefs on people who don't believe in God. They're addressing those who do believe and reminding them to stay strong and together and to be ready for spiritual warfare with the forces of darkness. Together we are strong. Divided we are vulnerable to attacks. And it's my belief that while the devil is here making life hard for us, he is by no means on the same level as God. As far as power goes he has none of his own. Satan only has the power we give him. God is powerful even without us. So God is stronger.
