I met her in 2001 and told her that I loved how she sang this song and she said, "Thank you dear". She spoke so softly. The song is very inspirational.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of this sweet Canadian singer,although i never listened to much of her music& i think i may have missed out .Today i was really blessed listening to this song of hers called "Flying on Your Own".This is such a encouraging song of hope for anyone who may feel inside like giving up on their dreams.This video is a beautiful tribute to her legacy.
