These guys are putting the song ahead of technical ability. Steve Morse is a Master Composer besides being a guitar slinger. In their separate projects, the focus has been too often on technical prowess first. This music is for the 'sake of the song.' Calling these guys commercial might be stretching it a bit...9 years ago
