It's hard to write a catchy pop song about paranoia and loneliness but Florence + the Machine manage just that on "Breaking Down." Florence is way too dang cute. As for the Lana vs. Florence debate, I will say this: Lana makes songs which are very defeated and helpless. Florence, who has actually struggled with mental illness, makes upbeat and positive music. She pushes through with an up and up attitude. She could be pouty like Lana, but she isn't. Look I love them both, but seriously did you listen carefully to Lana songs, she uses a lot of auto tune and other voice modification methods. That's why Florence has my utmost respect, while Lana doesn't.11 years ago
