Floater playing live at San Francisco's Maritime Hall back in September of '97.

In this clip they are playing Persecutor (from their second album; Glyph) *I Did Not Film This*

I have been a huge Floater fan since way back in '94. I've been to over 50 of their shows and will gladly see them a thousand times more if I can.

This footage was found at http://www.floatermusic.net -Check them out for more vintage Floater goodness.

Also, visit http://www.floatermusic.com -The Official Floater website. If you don't have their newest album (Stone By Stone), you can get it here.

I miss watching them at the Brickworks below the "U" Bar in Chico, CA. Many many great memories.

Seen them on this tour, in San Francisco just a few months before this. I don't think "Angels..." had come out yet. Same situation; no crowd (well the crowd arrived after Floater played; as they were they to see the awful local band playing after them). Anyway; we told Rob & the guys we'd driven 2 1/2 hours to see them, and they were SO kind to us. Even pulling out the lasers/Anubis dogs/fog/incense and they played an AMAZING set of what would be on "Angels ". One of my fav Floater shows ever!

@JermLeather I was surprised one of my friends said he was unfriendly but they couldn't be more wrong! He was sweet and softspoken (May have been trying to save his voice :)

@utopiachild71 Yeah, I know what you mean. He played a solo show in Chico on March 23rd and it was amazing. He is one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Congrats on the birth of your child, by the way!

I just met Rob a few days ago and had the pleasure of hanging out a bit after a solo show he did. Best moment of my life since the birth of my child! lol

Is this Jesse Fletcher? You traveled with these guys and did there light shows in these days..? I love these videos from this specific show, great light show by the also! You got any old tales from the road? Could that be the same THX-1138 tape they used for samples on Glyph?

Hang in there. Floater gets a lot of us through tough times. If you aren't home yet, I hope you make it back soon! "All of us go down slow, and then we rise again. Just like a tide out at sea, we lower and rise again" ~Endless

I was at this show. Up against the stage over to the left(stage right). They opened for some other terrible power metal band, ugh! But the played their asses off to an empty room and previewed a bunch of stuff from "Angels In The Flesh..." which hadn't come out yet. One of my fav concert experiences.

Yes, that's probably it. Or they just had their minds liquified by the sheer awesomeness of it all. Floater is God!
