Learn how to play Flirtin with Disaster at "http://www.playguitarsolos.com". Here it is first played through with background music, then without. If you listen closely, you'll notice on the take with no background music, I actually recorded it twice - a common technique used by guitarists (think Randy Rhodes for one) to "thicken" up the sound. But you actually have to play it twice so there are some minute differences. You can somewhat thicken up the sound with a quick delay, but not as much as there are no true differences. For example, in the bends there are obviously more chances for minute differences to come through.

Great solo...just wish would've slowed it WAY down when demonstrating it. It's difficult to learn at full speed, for me anyway.

Three covers in one. Dave, Duane, and Steve. Great job (as always).

I see many on youtube playing this wrong but his is spot on note for note, and remember kids practice makes perfection.

How long did it take you to master that? Spot on!

What effects did you use to achieve the most accurate "doubling" sound? The licks are spot on yes, and I salute you. But the sound is perfect!

Outstanding job! You should kick one of the clowns in the current Molly Hatchet cover band off the stage and get yourself up there.

I have shared the stage with Dave Hlubek, 2004 in VA. Beach, Great guy, and I think he would be thoroughly impressed by your talent, fuck he pretty much wrote this song and could not have done it better! Nice job!

日本から私もギターを弾いていましたが、今は弾いていません。このソロを一度弾いてみたかった。とても好きな音楽です。

Thank you for this, this will be my first attempt at southern rock solo's since I started playing 8 years ago (i know I wasnt taught good music very well when i started!) but anyway this has made the bunch of double stops and unison bends seem more understandable to me rather than reading only the tab and not hearing the notes properly in my head.
