I love this song so much, it's my favourite tune from Bob Welch. But ever since he died, I'm always sad when I hear it.

My parents bought this one after the "Fleetwood Mac" (1975) album came out. I remember my parent's disappointment because they also bought "Bare Trees" and "Mystery to me". I really liked those albums especially those love songs by Christine Mcvie. I also loved Bob Welch "Sentimental Lady" from "Bare Trees", but what i remembered most about "Bare Trees" was the little old lady reciting that poem at the end. This Fleetwood Mac era is highly underrated.

Who doesn't? It's my favorite era of FM, from 1971-1974.

Just because someone on the 'net said it, doesn't mean it's true. The correct lyric is "Four-eyes". Bob Welch was a lifetime eyeglass wearer.

My favorite of BW's many great tunes with Mac. So sad to hear he's gone. And no, if I could sing like Paul McCartney and get funky like Etta James, I wouldn't change either! RIP, Bob.

This shoulda' been a hit. The only place I've ever heard this was on a compilation from Warner Brothers called "The Force".Iit was one of my most fave-o-rite tunes on the album and have not heard it in several DECADES until just now!. It throws me back to those days. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

@suzetteburr Bare Trees, Heroes, almost clone songs like Hypnotized and Bermuda Triangle, and absolutely no disrespect to any previous or later incarnation of Fleetwood Mac, but this lineup is my personal favorite

I never heard this version before. I'm from Cincinnati and a local group called Blaze had a hit with this song. Thanks!
