I was very lucky back in the day -1975 college student (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo)on the beach central Calif. and working with a concert promotion Co. First time to see Mr. Fleetwood's band was The Oakland Stadium- Bill Graham's "Day on the green" Mac was the opening act supporting this album. Noon - midnight with Rod Stewart & Faces w/ Ronnie Wood Headline. WOW!! So Afraid takes on a life of it's own when you hear & feel it 10,000watts + with 100,000 friends for 10 + minutes.Saw again in'78 LA then again in Phx. early '90's with Dave MasonROCK ON

It's been 5 years since you wrote this but I'm pretty sure you still feel the same because I read your entry during the bit before the solo and I was shaking my head along to the song and I couldn't keep both my eyes dry.

You should really try to see them live. He's insane in concert (seen FM twice and Lindsey solo once) and it's absolutely life changing.

Just something for a relaxing Sunday. I saw them do this live last night and hadn't heard it before. You really get the feel of the era in this one.#fleetwoodmac #imsoafraid Fleetwood Mac - I'm So Afraid (Original)

Just saw them do this live. First time I've ever heard this song. Just the music itself is really something.

While Fleetwood Mac certainly was a good band before Buckingham/Nicks. Once they got into the mix, there is no doubt they took the band a whole new place. Buckingham is definitely one of the most underrated guitarists.

I love this song. It's a shame that it hardly gets any spins on the radio. KZOK, you better get your acts together, this is good stuff here.

what i really like about this version is the music itself. i know that the life versions are more powerful, specially when it comes to the solo. But this version has something in it that makes me feel like crying! :) it's an amazing song!

Such a great song, definately one of Fleetwood Mac's best! However, I still find the live versions from 1976 and 1997 are better.
