Live on the mirage tour.

Written by Richard and Michael Curtis.

It was a blue letter

She wrote to me

It's silver words she told

Wanna be on the road to paradise

I wanna lover who don't get old.

Do I read a message in your eyes

You wanna love to stay another night

Baby when your day goes down

I won't be waitin' around for you.

For every voice you ever heard

There's a thousand without a word

Redbird, don't say you told me so,

Just give me one more song to go.

Do I read a message in your eyes

You wanna love to stay another night

Baby when your day goes down

I won't be waitin' around for you.

Linsey was all the live at this show. I think he really let loose of some old stuff he was holding back. Oh and I love him very much!

That harmony got a bit out of hand

In later years he says during this particular run with the band, he was basically waiting around for her. Coincidence? Think not.

@MOSKII58 I have to agree, its bad enough his act is to follow Danny Kirwin who had awsum tone and guitar skills. And to sound like this on a cheap guitar.

@fleetwoodmagic you have taken the words out of my mouth! Amazing!! I bought their Greatest hits song because of "Everywhere" and I was forever changed!

i hate that cheap sounding turner guitar, it sounds & looks weird, i wish he'd get back out his white les paul custom now that was a great sounding axe & looked awesome, i thpought his playing was better as well on the paul, he sounds 1/2 spazzed out on the turner..

I love the harmonies on this song, some of the best out of all Mac songs. I think this & Crystal are two of the best Stevie/Lindsey harmony songs!

With his coke habit, you'd soon regret it, as did Stevie.

With that vest and small hat, Lindsey looks more like a baby or an infant than a grown man, but Iove him, I'd love to tuck him into my bed.

I never used to be very keen on this song, simply because it was written by someone outside of the band and so, unlike with most Fleetwood Mac songs, you don't get a reflection of Stevie/Lindsey/Chris's personality. However, this version has quite a bit going for it.
