I Love to hear Earl play the banjo. My Great Grandfather Jesse Smith Hammett taught Earl to play his( Jesse's) own style of picken. The music Earl plays is a direct connection to my geneology. Jesse's daughter Lucy (Hammett ) Wyatt was my grandmother. I sure miss all of them, but what a joy in how Earls music connects me to him and Grandma Lucy and Grandma Hammett and Grandpa Hammett. Thanks for posting this recording.
