I loved 5 Star so much..........It was like having 3 Janet Jackson (the girls) with Blonde hair and braces (lead singer) but they had moves and harmonies and just killed it. British Soul............Actually there was two girls in that I loved in different ways (not in any bad way or Stage 8 Creeper Way) that had the same look; Stacey Butler(now a Best Seller author) and Carlesha Green (Incredible Lawyer, Mother and Wife ) Super shout-out to Reading, Pennsylvania. Both of these girls could have been members of this group because at different times they both come from that 'celebrity tribe'. Damn, I missed the 'Simple Life; (shout out to Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton: loved them together too) Damn too much Brown Juice tonight........

I do remember them and their songs were great, they seem to be a bit of an underrated and not most well remembered group from the era though, not sure why but I guess it's because there was a lot of competition back then in the 80's, plenty of other groups and music that perhaps beat them to it, maybe in another era they would have done even better because the 80's was overcrowded with incredible music talent, Shalama, Imagination etc, it would have been tough to compete with those big names, Five Star's music was certainly much better than the stuff we have today, am I alone in thinking today's music has lost the plot completely?...or perhaps I'm just far too old now to get it? Lol
