Just lovely ladies, glad I discovered you. I love your version of this beat, so fine, just like the Waterloo Sunset itself

Not pronouncing the letter T in the word 'waterloo' is a crime against this great song. I love these girls and I'm not usually precious about these things but this really irritated me. They pronounced it as an American would, using a soft D. I'm not an American basher - I love American accents, especially in music - but it just doesn't work here. Respect the song!

This made me unexpectedly homesick for London. Can't wait to go home from uni in a couple weeks

Oh no! You can't do this to a classic! Please don't get me wrong, I like First Aid Kit, I think they have a fresh and unique sound, but they need to listen to a playback of this and then they'll just admit that they got it wrong, timing wrong, intro wrong, chorus wrong.

I love FAK but this was a bit "of an interesting attempt"Funny thing about cover versions. never heard more than 2 or 3 that I have liked. egSusanna and the magic's orchestra's chilling version of JD's "love will tell us apart" Liabach's superb version of the Beatles' across the universe" and finallyThe Chills ghostly/creepy version of the Byrds "draft morning"A really good cover version must sound different to but add something to or bring something out that was "masked" in the original version. All the above do that oh just remembered another excellent cover Ella Henderson's superb version of Cher's hit "do you believe" in( life after love)FAK are becoming great " a long time ago " is my fav track by them and is sung beautifully by Klara.I like the comment that they are maybe a female equivalent of Simon @ Garfunkel . Praise indeed.

Excellent. More bands should do harmonies like that. It seems to have gone out of fashion.

Hey ... I grew up listening to the Kinks and covered their songs back in the 60's with my garage/basement band in NYC. I love those guys. If I covered one of their songs now, I would do them a dishonor and would be bored if I tried to replicate what was already perfect. I'm happy these girls even know and appreciate that music, and welcome their own rendition of it like so many other covers they've done. Bravo!

the rhythm is emphasised on completely the wrong beat unless this was intentional, but good interpretation. A little Americanised though.

Hate to be a party pooper cos I love them, but they got the chords wrong for this, and the timing of the intro riff as well. It sounds fine as it is but the original is such a great song, it would have been better to stick to the same melody and chords as the original.

Very nice. They remind me of a female Simon & Garfunkel.
