@19yrs of age, accompanied by the friends I first experienced life growing up in Ca with, friends I hold dear to heart, think of almost daily & @ that time, thought I would be close to forever (some of the shit we truly do believe when we are young & life hadn't slashed our tires of the car we'd borrowed yet) 7 of us, traveled to Joshua Tree Ntl. Monument. We ate well, we drank, we smoked, we did LSD, we laughed & we lived. Me & Rosie spilled hot coco on the floor of the tent, while fucking under the stars & didn't realize till morn. I can't remember the last time I just left a spill to clean up later. When I see Joshua Tree, it holds feelings that help me to be able to cope with the shitstorm that being a responsible man, introduces me to on a daily basis anymore. I hope nobody listens to the person warning us of the perils that bad-decision making, may hold. Don't pull out if you both never wanna leave that moment. And don't do acid unless you've marked that entire 24hr period & a few of the same to be safe, down as free-time. And finally... Look up at the sky that night, hold her hand & don't say anything.
