I purchased Stay Gold on vinyl the night before a long road trip with my son. We had a bit of time to listen to a few tracks before heading to bed to rest up for the journey ahead. We liked what we heard, so we took along the CD that accompanied the vinyl. Somewhere in the mountains of Pennsylvania my son, who had fallen asleep, suddenly awoke to the crescendo towards the end of "Cedar Lane"..... "How Can I break away from you?" He told me he was dreaming and wanted to hear the song again....and again.....and again. :-) The CD remained in the player the rest of the trip. We became instant fans. Caught one of their shows in NY during their 2014 tour, and my son got to meet them and take a few pictures and collect a few autographs. We're looking forward to seeing them @ The Newport Folk Festival.... and we're DIEING for a new album. Haven't heard an album that is as solid all the way through like Stay Gold in a very long time.
