Can you people finally stop bitching about heavier stuff of F11? I liked them when they were Tool-like in 1998 and close-to-metal in 2001, I liked them for their best guitar sound in self-titled 2003, I liked their 'Them-vs-you-vs-me' for the catchy tunes, and 'Life turns electric' made me like them even more, it was great experience with solid sound and good lyrics. You know what I see? They've changed, but hey - they are MUCH positive now than they were fifteen years back. It's been a long way since then - from dark and heavy to something kind, fun and extremely positive. The band matured, accept it, they really grew in means of what their music make people feel: it's all about emotions their tunes bring, and IMHO F11 is on the right way.

Critics of their newer material have to understand that they just slowly drifted into alternative rock territory. I just chalk it up to age and a desire to explore a new area, and I love this material for it's funky catchiness and excellent lyrics. I understand the criticism, but at the same time, most bands go soft far worse than Finger Eleven did. I'm excited personally, this is catchy as hell and feels like it has some subtle Stevie Wonder influences!
