LYRICS

Black and broken

Dirty mirror

Hands I've shaken

Blessed with fever

Back and forth against the wall

With second sight to see it all

Moving slowly

Until she breaks apart the animal

She prays her voices stop

Remove the cavity

A fragile hero

Makes a villain

Where'd your mind go?

A simple serum

Back and forth against the wall

With second sight to watch the fall

Mele

She prays her voices stop

Remove the cavity

She plays around

We've lost you now

This song sounds like Finch was inspired by Fuel and Our Lady Peace a bit.

Real talk. None of these songs will ever stand out to me as much as Three Simple Words did. First song I EVER heard by Finch and immediately got me to check them out. SHTS was good but very different and while I still supported them in the direction they wanted to go it will never be as good as WIITB. Don't worry, songs off of that album will stick with me forever. Perfection Through Silence bitches \m/

It's got that frantic feeling Finch have been the masters of since Say Hello to Sunshine, definitely reflects the good Finch returning.I am so glad we didn't get WIITB 2.0, we got something with so much more substance, originality, feeling and depth to it.

You people who are denying that this singer sounds like Incubus are seriously just shoving your heads in your asses. It's obviously influenced by Incubus' music to a degree and his vocal style is hugely reminiscent of old Incubus where screaming was a larger part of the music- at least on this track.

Such a underrated band that didn't get much recognition. I loved their album say hello to sunshine and what it is to burn.
