I honestly like this version more. But if they re-recorded the vocals it would have been a more convincing win. The background is more breathtaking imho. Just that because we've been listening to the original for so much longer, we grew up with it and we just automatically reject this change. Just my two cents worth.

I think the violin in this one is just a little higher pitch than the original.  It's different, not bad, just different.  I feel that many fans of the original game(myself included) are going to pick up on that and gravitate more toward the original because this one sounds "off".  Both are good though.

Yes.. Original IS better only because it is the original and that is what we grew up with..  But I will not take away the fact that the remade tracks are an awesome way to relive this.

So called "Old fans" be like "Original is better, new is pure shitty" I'd say both are awesome, each good in their own way. I really love all of the re-arrangements of the soundtracks, all of them are awesome, and are masterpieces.
