The game only doesn´t get recognized very much because FFX was published just about a year later,like you said,it ranking is even above VII and VIII,so,why doesn´t it have a sequel then?Well,actually I did read that a member of squeenix that left one year ago,said,that FFIX is actually the FF that deserves a sequel the most.
