whenever you vs a boss in the game and this song came up. You would feel the 'your screwed' theme to it. It makes you feel pressured and as if you cant win.

Of all the things I remember from FF9, this theme stands out the most. It was a brilliant piece of classic Uematsu awesomeness in a game with fewer than normal really memorable tracks, and I've always loved it. Your arrangement captures the full energy of that piece perfectly. Well done!

This song makes the battle seem so much more dire and at times hopeless/overwhelming, than it did in 7 and 8. Both the older titles had a more "YEAH, KICK THEIR ASSES" kinda feel to it, yet this is one of my fave boss themes from the series.
