I believe brawl could have been better; I get that the creator of smash didn't like this game become competitive just like melee has; but he has to admit, this game just feels like a tank game. All the characters feel like they are handicapped in the worst way possible and instead of it being who has, at the very least, a small amount of skill, it all fundamentally comes down to chance. Either you throw that bat or beam sword and hit your opponent(s), or you don't and, worse case scenario, are playing with someone who was "molded by" lag and kicks your ass faster than your partner has, literally.This, being brawls take on final destination, really gives the atmosphere (or lack there of literally speaking) of this one stock match, time match, or just training, that is the most important and life changing or ending fight you will ever either win, or die trying. (Unless if you have a family-friendly rating, you'll never die, only if you're clever about sneaking things in, then maybe)Other than that. Good perspective. Only way to make this better is by using Project M (a brawl mod that changes the game to feel and behave like melee). I perfer Legacy XP 2.0; but it comes down to preference
