I gotta say, I'm impressed at the comments I see with all songs from Title Of Record. Indeed, I feel like this was Filter at their best. Each song carries its own weight, while still screaming (quite literally) that this is Filter. I am glad Richard Patrick is still running the band. Actually your right and wrong Dontneedjack. Bologna is correct that this song is about Trent Reznor. The fact that they married the idea of Trent to Captain Bligh could indeed be because of the things you mention about Captain Bligh...but the band did state the song is about Trent and some anti-social behavior of his.11 years ago

Captain Bligh, the man, was an incredible navigator.. A super loyal member of his majesties navy.. But, he was hated by his crew..
