Here is a great Bubblerock video I put together

of The Fifth Dimension doing their classic smash 1969 hit -

Wedding Bell Blues.

This was done live for a 1969 TV show.

You had the Motown singers who performed great dance moves

for their songs on TV and concert but The Fifth Dimension's

style of dancing and acting out the songs was truly unique and fluid.

I remastered the music and video for your pleasure.

Enjoy !!!

Is'nt Marriage Grand ?

Ha Ha !!!

Peace

Dan

Nyro is a genius of course -- but this video is fun, and Marilyn is a fine singer too...

I loved listening to this on the way home from school in the 6th grade. I never realized until now it was done by the 5th Dimension!

Written in 1966 by Lauro Nyro, this upbeat pop song became a #1 hit for the Fifth Dimension in 1969. The beautiful and talented Marilyn McCoo sings lead.

Remastered, this sounds great! Really clean and clear. As a 5 or 6 year old child my father was into these guys, eight tracks in the car!!! This might be the first song I can remember in my life.

Not that she ever had the “wedding bell blues,” but, if she did, they end today, and I’m thrilled that such a special soul has met, and married, her “Bill,” and I wish for many happy days to come her way, and that in today’s bliss she well always stay….I dedicate one of my favorite songs, to one of my favorite ladies, Misty....
